Refund policy

At Rumils, we want you to love your shopping experience. However, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind or face an issue with your order. That’s why we have a simple and transparent Returns & Refunds Policy designed to ensure peace of mind while shopping with us.
By purchasing from Rumils (a brand of RSPA Innovations Pvt. Ltd.), you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Return Policy

Didn’t like your Rumils jewellery? Changed your mind after receiving your order? No worries! We’ve got you covered with our 3-step return process.

Step 1: Inform

• You must share the name and clear image(s) of the product via email at info@rumils.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
• Our team will review your request and confirm if your return is eligible.

Step 2: Return

• Once your return is approved, you must ship the product(s) to us within 5 days of approval.
• Products should be returned in their original, unused condition with intact packaging, labels and box.
• The return shipping cost will be borne by the customer (unless the product is damaged on arrival).
• Damaged, used or improperly packed items will not qualify for a refund. Please use a reliable courier service and share tracking details with us.

Step 3: Refund (via Coupon Code)

• Once we receive your package, we will notify you within 24 - 48 hours.
• After a quick quality check, we will issue you a refund coupon code equivalent to the returned product’s value.

2. Cancellation Policy

• Orders are usually processed within 2 hours of placement.
• Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped from our warehouse.
• Prepaid Orders: If cancelled before shipping, you may choose between:
  • A refund coupon code (full amount), OR
  • Refund to original payment method (5% deduction as payment gateway charges apply).
• COD Orders: Cancellation requests must be made promptly. COD orders once shipped cannot be cancelled.

3. Refund Policy

Mode of Refund
• Refunds are issued only as store credit in the form of a coupon code.
• Coupon codes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.
• A coupon code is for one-time use and cannot be reapplied if not used.
Applicable Deductions
• ₹250 will be deducted for non-acceptance of prepaid orders to cover forward and reverse shipping.
• If free shipping was applied, ₹125 shipping charges will be deducted while processing a refund.
• Refund codes from cancelled/returned orders can only be reissued up to 2 times tracing back to the original order.
Important Notes
• Damaged/used products or items without original packaging will not qualify for a refund. They can be shipped back to you at ₹125 courier cost or collected from our warehouse.
• Refund codes cannot be combined with other promotional codes. Only one coupon code can be applied per order.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

We take utmost care in packaging, and all products undergo multiple quality checks before dispatch. However, in rare cases, if your product is damaged in transit:

1. Inform Within 48 Hours

  • Please share an unboxing video or clear pictures of the damaged product with us at info@rumils.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • This helps us verify and approve your claim quickly.

2. Return Shipping

  • Once approved, you will be required to ship the damaged product back to us using a reliable courier service.
  • The shipping cost for returning damaged/defective products will be borne by the customer.
  • Please share the tracking details with us once dispatched.

3. Resolution

  • After receiving and verifying the returned product, we will either:
  • Send you a replacement (if stock is available), OR
  • Issue a refund coupon code equivalent to the product value, valid for 1 year.
  • No direct cash or bank refund will be provided.

5. Eligibility Summary

✅ Eligible for Returns/Refunds:
• Products reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Products shipped back within 5 days of return approval.
• Products unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
❌ Not Eligible:
• Products used/damaged by the customer.
• Returns requested after 48 hours of delivery.
• Products shipped after the 5-day return window.

6. Refund Timeline

• Refund coupon codes are issued within 3 working days of receiving and verifying the returned product.
• Coupon codes are sent via email and valid for 1 year.
